| This clever cartridge allows you to prevent accidental scalds by limiting the maximum hot water temperature with a simple adjustment of the temperature lock, as well as save water and prevent splash back by locking the maximum flow at the desired rate. |

In another world first, FM Mattsson also invented and patented the pressure balanced thermostatic mixer cartridge, used in our safety mixers. This cartridge is designed to deliver warm water at a selected temperature, unaffected by changes in water pressure – no more hot bursts when someone flushes the toilet! This pressure balancing feature, unique to FM Mattsson, combined with the mixer’s safety temperature lock, effectively prevents scalding accidents. As an added safety feature, if the cold water supply is interrupted, the mixer will instantly shut off. |
